9-11th C Saxon/Viking type swords.

All swords are typically made for combat use with 2-3mm thick edged and rounded points .

 The fittings are generally made from steel  and in the styles from the Petersen typology shown below.

The grips are stacked leather as standard but can also be supplied in wood  with or without ferrules. leather covered wooden core types are also available.

Below in the galleries are a selection of different types and styles that i have made to order in the past.

Blade lengths are from 26-34inches and the price will be determined by the type of hilt , the grip type and the blade length .

All swords are made to order and twisted wire decoration, inlay, overlay, etching and engraving on the fittings and etching on the blades along with other materials like Bronze and Brass that can be used to make the fittings  are available and priced on request .
