All swords are typically made for combat use in either light weight western or heavier full contact eastern style.
The fittings are generally steel and occasionally bronze or brass and in the styles from the Petersen typology shown below.
The grips are stacked leather as standard but also in wood ( with or without ferrules) or leather covered wooden core types.
The standard wood types are Ash,Elm ,Beech,Walnut ,Holly and sycamore but A range of burls are also available and priced on the type.
Below in the galleries are a selection of different types and styles that i have made to order in the past.
Blade lengths are from 26-34inches and the price will be determined by the type of hilt (see the Petersen Typology) the grip type and the blade length .
In addition twisted wire ,inlay, overlay, etching and engraving on the fittings and etching on the blades are available and in the galleries there are some examples .
